VC Briefing | When is a Deal Not a Deal? The Fragile “Ceasefire” In Gaza

As the world celebrates president Trump’s “Gaza Peace Plan,” the reality on the ground paints a decidedly different picture. Hamas continues to violate the deal: refusing to return the bodies of murdered Israelis, torturing and killing opposition in Gaza, firing on IDF positions, and insisting that they will never disarm. Meanwhile, the Trump administration is tying Israel’s hands, preventing the IDF from responding to these violations. Alongside the joy and relief in the return of the living hostages, there is growing fear and anger among the Israeli public at the sight of Hamas getting stronger by the day.

RELEASE | When is a Deal Not a Deal?

WASHINGTON, D.C.— When is a deal not a deal? That question looms large in Israel at a moment when American envoys are pressing their hosts to comply with an agreement to cease fire in Gaza. That agreement, however, was supposed to require Hamas to stop hostilities, disarm and give up power. It isn’t happening. To the contrary, Hamas is attacking Israeli forces and trying to take some hostage. It is massacring perceived political opponents and seizing their weapons.

VC Briefing | Sitrep on “Middle east peace deal”

The past week has seen dramatic developments with respect to the conflict in Gaza, the agreement to a ceasefire there and the prospects for a wider regional peace. The release by Hamas of twenty live hostages in exchange for ten times as many incarcerated jihadists and others detained by Israel has been completed, but the remains of most of those Israelis who died after their seizure on October 7, 2023 have not been released to Israel. There has, moreover, been little progress on other key elements of President Trump’s 20-point plan.

Rep. Chip Roy with Steve Bannon: Sharia Supremacism, Marxism & the 2025 Ground Game

Rep. Chip Roy joins Steve Bannon to warn about what he calls a coordinated alliance of Marxist organizers and Sharia-supremacist activists shaping U.S. politics—from New York to Texas. Roy outlines his new bill, the Preserving a Sharia-Free America Act, aimed at barring entry and removing individuals found to be adherents of Sharia that conflicts with the U.S. Constitution. He argues Texas is ground zero, citing rapid mosque expansion and the East Plano Islamic Center’s 400-acre project, and says examples in Dearborn, Minneapolis, the U.K., and France preview what’s coming here. Roy also explains why he’s leaving Congress to run for Texas Attorney General, how the left has copied the right’s precinct-level ground game, and reacts to President Trump’s stance on cutting federal funds if New York elects a Sharia-aligned mayor.

VC Briefing | A Nobel Peace Prize for the Biden-Harris Mideast Deal?

Two years ago yesterday, the Gaza franchise of the terrorist organization known as the Muslim Brotherhood perpetrated the most horrific act of jihad since 9/11, beheading raping and murdering over 1,200 Israeli babies, women and men. In the aftermath of that outrage, the Biden-Harris administration responded with rhetorical sympathy, intermittent support and a diplomatic and political campaign to save Hamas and its allies from Israel’s retaliation and to topple Benjamin Netanyahu.

VC Briefing | “Happy New Year” for Jews; Samo-Samo for the UN that Hates Them

As Jews in Israel and around the world celebrated one of their faith’s most revered holy days, Rosh Hashanah, the United Nations was exhibiting its default enmity towards the Jewish State by simultaneously scheduling deliberations on international efforts to foist on her a Palestinian one. With recognition of such a state conferred by Britain, Australia, Canada and France, diplomats are frantically seeking to ensure Hamas’ survival and stave off its decisive defeat at Israel’s hands.

VC Briefing | “Finish the Job”: Israel’s Attack in Qatar, The Faux “Famine” in Gaza and the Necessity of Hamas’ Unconditional Surrender

Israel’s attacks yesterday on Hamas safe-havens in Qatar are the latest indication that she is determined to “finish the job” in Gaza. President Trump has repeatedly urged the Israeli government to do just that – and should affirm such support again at this juncture.
